About
Meet Our Psychologist : Alexandra Chomat, Clinical Psychologist & Educational Neuropsychologist
I’m a French-trained clinical psychologist, accompanying individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s changes — towards greater self-understanding and equilibrium.
Having lived and worked in different places around the world — from Romania and France to Sweden, the United States, and now Singapore, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. These experiences have deepened my belief that, wherever we come from, we share the same capacity to adapt, grow, and find balance amid change.

Services

Adult Psychotherapy
As a French-trained Clinical Psychologist with international experience, I support adults who wish to overcome personal or relational challenges, manage stress more effectively, or regain balance in life — particularly within the sometimes demanding context of expatriation. My approach is rooted in a university background from Lyon 2 University (psychodynamic orientation) and a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from the Lyon School of Transactional Analysis.

Child & Adolescent Therapy
With an international background (France, Romania, Sweden, the U.S., Singapore), I support children, adolescents, and their families in their emotional, academic, and social development. My career first began as a primary school teacher, giving me a deep understanding of classroom life and students’ needs. This experience strengthened my conviction that a child is far more than academic results — each deserves a holistic approach that values their strengths, vulnerabilities, and emotional well-being.

Neuropsychological Assessments
I provide assessments for children and adolescents to: Evaluate attention difficulties (ADHD), Identify learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia…), Understand neurodivergent profiles (high potential, autism spectrum, cognitive/emotional differences), Collaborate with families and teachers to implement adapted educational plans (PAP, PAI, or equivalent support systems), Offer personalized, actionable recommendations for home and school.
