Meet Our Psychologist : Alexandra Chomat, Clinical Psychologist & Educational Neuropsychologist
With extensive experience in clinical and educational psychology across public and private sectors in France and Singapore, Alexandra Chomat brings a deep understanding of child, adolescent, and family psychology. She has worked extensively with schools, families, and individuals, offering both systemic interventions and personalized psychological support. Her background includes serving as an educational psychologist in the French Catholic Private School System, where she implemented and evaluated programs to foster positive learning environments, as well as running a private practice in Lyon, France.Alexandra holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with First Class Honours from Lyon 2 University, France, and is also trained in Transactional Analysis. Before transitioning into psychology, she was a special needs educator, specializing in learning disabilities. Her early experience in education shaped her commitment to supporting children’s unique needs.

​Neuropsychological Assessments: Alexandra specializes in comprehensive child and adolescent assessments, offering a secure and supportive environment to evaluate learning difficulties (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyspraxia), ADHD, and emotional or behavioral challenges.
​Child & Adolescent Therapy: She supports children and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, neurodevelopmental challenges, and school-related stress. Passionate about bullying prevention, she also implements evidence-based programs to reduce school harassment. Her therapeutic approach includes play therapy, expressive arts, movement, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques.
​Family Therapy: Using a systemic and strengths-based approach, Alexandra works with families to improve communication and resolve conflicts. She integrates Transactional Analysis and systemic family therapy to foster positive dynamics.​
Adult Psychotherapy: Alexandra’s approach is integrative and psychodynamic, focusing on each individual’s uniqueness. She provides a safe and non-judgmental space, helping clients gain insight, process emotional challenges, and develop resilience. She is trained in Transactional Analysis, psychoanalytic therapy, and psychodynamic approaches and also holds a Sexual Therapy diploma.
​Couples Therapy: Her systemic and dynamic approach helps couples navigate complex relationship dynamics, enhance communication, and strengthen emotional connections. She supports couples in conflict resolution, intimacy issues, infidelity recovery, pre-marital counseling, and relationship transitions.Alexandra believes in a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic process, creating a safe space where individuals, families, and couples can explore challenges and foster meaningful change. Known for her warm, structured, and intuitive approach, she brings expertise with a touch of humor and humanity.​​
